Pind Daan for Your Ancestors, on the Banks of the Ganga

Honour your forefathers with an authentic Pind Daan in Haridwar — performed by experienced pandits, with video proof, photos and a certificate delivered to you.
What Is Online Pind Daan?

When you cannot travel to Haridwar yourself, an experienced pandit performs the Pind Daan on your behalf, taking sankalp in your name and gotra. As described in the Garuda Purana, a ritual performed by a representative on your behalf is complete and its merit is yours. This is ideal for families abroad, elders unable to travel, or urgent requirements.

How It Works
1. Choose a package & date

Pick the offering tier that suits you and a preferred tithi (date). We can help you decide an auspicious date if you are unsure.

2. Share the departed's details

Give the name and gotra of the departed soul, the date of death if known, and your name and relation for the sankalp.

3. A pandit is assigned

On the chosen day an experienced Haridwar pandit performs the ritual on the banks of the Ganga as your representative.

4. Sankalp in your name

The pandit takes sankalp with the departed's name and gotra and completes the full ritual as per Vedic procedure.

5. Photos & video proof

The ritual is recorded; photos and video are shared with you for complete transparency, with the sankalp clearly audible.

6. Certificate

You receive a certificate confirming the Pind Daan was performed for your departed loved one.

Details to Keep Ready

Have these ready so the sankalp can be made correctly. The booking form asks only for the essentials.

  • Full name, gotra and gender of the departed soul.

  • If the departed was male: the names of their father and grandfather.

  • If the departed was a married woman: the names of her mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law.

  • If the departed was an unmarried woman: the names of her mother and grandmother.

  • The date of death, if known.

  • Your name and your relation to the departed (on whose behalf the Pind Daan is performed).

Why Haridwar?

Haridwar, where the Ganga enters the plains, is among the holiest places to perform ancestral rites. Pind Daan here is believed to bring peace (moksha) to departed souls and blessings to the family.
