Your sankalp is recorded by the pandit in your name and gotra before the ritual begins. The puja follows traditional Tantrik vidhi, invoking Lord Kaal Bhairav with mantra chanting and the prescribed offerings. A raksha sutra, empowered during the ritual, and prasad are dispatched to your address once the puja is completed, along with photos and a video as proof it was performed in your name.
Tie the raksha sutra on your right wrist (left hand for women) and keep it on until it wears off naturally. If convenient, offer a small portion of the prasad to a dog — traditionally regarded as Lord Bhairav's vehicle — before taking the rest yourself. Avoid non-vegetarian food and alcohol for at least 3 days after the puja.
