About this Puja

A remedial sadhana performed for those who believe their family carries Pitra Dosh — unrest attributed to departed ancestors — seeking their peace and blessings for the family.

Benefits

Traditionally sought by families who believe they carry Pitra Dosh. Invoked for the peace of departed ancestors and their blessings. Believed to ease recurring obstacles in progeny, health and prosperity attributed to it. Encourages a sense of gratitude and connection to one's forebears. Note: Tantrik sadhana is a matter of traditional faith and devotion. Results are not guaranteed and are not scientifically established.

Process & What's included

Your sankalp is recorded by the pandit in your name and gotra before the ritual begins. The puja follows traditional Pitra Dosh nivaran vidhi (tarpan and the prescribed offerings for the ancestors) with mantra chanting. A raksha sutra, empowered during the ritual, and prasad are dispatched to your address once the puja is completed, along with photos and a video as proof it was performed in your name.

After Your Puja

Wear the raksha sutra until it wears off naturally. Offering food to a cow, a crow or a Brahmin in the days after the puja is traditionally regarded as beneficial. Remember your ancestors with gratitude, especially during Pitru Paksha.
