Shri Bijethua Mahaviran Dham is a famous ancient pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Hanuman, located in the Surapur area of Kadipur Tehsil, Sultanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. According to religious beliefs, when Lakshman Ji fell unconscious after being struck by Meghnad’s powerful weapon, Lord Hanuman was sent by Lord Shri Ram to bring the Sanjeevani herb. To stop him, Ravana sent a demon named Kalanemi, who disguised himself as a sage and attempted to mislead Hanuman Ji. It is believed that Lord Hanuman killed Kalanemi at this very place.
