Sanskrit: ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्॥
Transliteration: Om bhur bhuvah svah, tat savitur varenyam, bhargo devasya dhimahi, dhiyo yo nah prachodayat.
Meaning: We meditate on the radiant glory of the divine Sun, the source of the three worlds. May that divine light illumine our understanding and guide our thoughts.
The Gayatri is traditionally chanted at dawn and dusk. It is a prayer not for things but for clarity — asking that the intellect itself be awakened and rightly directed.
